Christmas 2009
Getting into the Christmas Spirit
Linnea and Daddy built this snowman....Linnea refers to a snowman as a "stranger in the woods"
Christmas Morning at our house
Breakfast consisted of Powdered Donuts....although this just had to tide us over until the Doughman Brunch at Uncle Jeff and Aunt Nancy's.
We choose to give sparingly not because we have to, although this year that was also a reason, but because we have a very generous family and a small house. It was hard coming up with something to get Sofia this year, as she has all the hand-me downs from Linnea, so bath toys will have to do. Linnea did get two packages to open because we found a great deal on the games, so Sofia gave her one. The time may come when we do give more but we are happy to be able to spend time with the girls and to not be so focused on making enough money to buy them all the right things.
Christmas with Grandma & Grandpa Doughman
Grandma found the girls each a doll stroller as well as some other doll things. Linnea and Sofia both enjoyed pushing the strollers all over the place. Linnea and Grandpa took Pebbles out for a walk on Christmas.

She didn't know she had a bow in her hair
Christmas in Wisconsin
Daddy and his girls
Sofia really wanted to climb the stairs
Great Grandpa McCleary
Linnea still took some time to warm up to Great Grandpa, but she was certain he was not the "Ho, Ho, Ho man" The girls both loved having the dog around...maybe one day. We didn't take many pictures this trip. I can tell you Chris made another sled run and had a great time exploring the property despite the frigid temperatures. Linnea wasn't really a fan of the sled as she said "Too Fast!" but she did enjoy some time out as well.

Sweet Sofia
Sofia has learned to do many new things in the last several months. I thought this was especially cute.
