Linnea practicing her ABC's with a new puzzle.
We had a wonderful Christmas. Time was spent with family both near and far. The girls both received wonderful gifts that they will be using in the coming year...especially Linnea's new clothes as she was growing out of everything that I had. Chris's grandma gave us one of my favorite gifts, a family zoo pass, we have had the opportunity to use it once when the weather warmed up last week. We tried to minimize what we spent, as Chris's pay is still reduced, but we each bought ourselves a little something. I got a sewing machine, as I have been asking for one for awhile now and Wal-Mart had a great deal. Chris on the other hand bought himself some protection, i.e. guns and ammunition, as well as a few survival supplies.
Chris was afraid he was going to get a Willow Tree figurine.
he got locks for his gun case from the girls.
We were given a slide/climber from a family at church so we kept it a surprise for Linnea Christmas morning.
Christmas in Wisconsin
Linnea kept the sheep and plants company on the hearth.
She was terrified to get too close to Great Grandpa for the first few days, she is somewhat suspicious of men with facial hair.
Sofia with Great Grandpa and Great Grandma McCleary
This was Sofia's favorite place to sleep...I guess Grandma's armpit smells pretty tasty.
Linnea went sledding with Mommy and Daddy in the backyard.
Chris spent HOURS making sled runs. This is from the 1st day only about half way down the hill.
